Toshiyuki Igarashi retained his WBC flyweight title Saturday with a majority decision over previously undefeated Nestor Narvaes.

Igarashi (17-1-1, 10 KOs) won by scores of 114-112 on two cards, while a third judge scored it even at 113-113. It was Igarashi's 10th straight win and his first defense since capturing the title in July with a split decision over Sonny Boy Jaro.

Narvaes (19-1-2) entered the bout with nine straight wins.

On the same card, Shinsuke Yamanaka knocked out Tomas Rojas in the seventh round to keep his WBC bantamweight crown. The fight was stopped just 36 seconds into the seventh after a Yamanaka left floored the challenger.

Yamanaka (17-0-2, 12 KOs) was making his second title defense, having captured the belt last November. He also beat Vic Darchinyan in a unanimous decision in April.

Rojas (39-14-1) had won three bouts since losing the WBC super flyweight crown in August 2011.
