USF gives Rex Walters extension

San Francisco, CA – The University of San Francisco has come 16 season.

Walters, in his fourth season with the school, has guided the Dons to a mark of 46-53 with a 20-22 record in West Coast Conference play while the team is currently 4-1 on the season.

"In a short period of time, Coach Walters has reviatlized one of the most storied programs in college basketball history," said athletics directiot Scott Sidwell. "We are committed to making Dons basketball one of the top programs in the antion and we are confident that Coach Walters has San Francisco on the right track to achieve some lofty goals."

Last season, Walters' team posted a mark 19-15, including a record of 10-4 in conference play. The team reached the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament before losing to eventual champs Santa Clara.
