NASCAR team owner Jack Roush is in critical condition after a twin-engine plane he was in skidded off the runway at Wittman Regional Airport in Kentucky while landing, Fox11Online.com reports.

Theda Clark Medical Center tells the website that his injuries are non-life threatening.

One other person was on the plane with Roush when it skidded off the runway. Authorities say Brenda Strickland also suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Roush was also involved in a plane crash in April 2002, when the private plane he was in collided into an Alabama lake. A retired Marine saved his life, pulling the unconscious Roush from the plane and administering CPR.

The NTSB and the FAA are investigating the latest incident. The cause of the accident is unknown.
