Donald Trump is asking the same judge he's been railing against for weeks to withhold videos showing him answering tough questions about Trump University.

U.S. District Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel, whom Trump has branded a "hater of Donald Trump" and accused of bias due to his Mexican heritage, is set to decide whether to release the videos to the public.

Trump has been a frequent critic of Curiel, saying he is part of a "very pro-Mexico society" and has treated him unfairly due to Trump's call to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Lawyers in the class-action lawsuit have sought to release 48 videos of the billionaire answering questions, saying they are needed to show Trump’s disposition, according to Politico.

Lawyers for Trump assert there is “no legitimate reason for the videos to be released.”

"Plaintiff offers no legitimate reason for seeking submission of these videos, which are clearly intended to prejudice Mr. Trump," Trump lawyers said.

The lawyers also warned that, if video submissions are allowed by Curiel, Trump's side will seek to file potentially unflattering video clips of depositions from Trump University students and others "whose credibility could be called into question based on their demeanor in the video," Politico reported.

Trump’s lawyers have denied any wrongdoing in the case before Curiel as well as another class-action suit in San Diego and a $40 million lawsuit filed in 2013 by the state of New York alleging that more than 5,000 had been defrauded.
