President Obama apparently will have more time to polish his short game and work on his drives before the outing of his life.

Tiger Woods told FOX News on Monday that the two will not meet up for a round of golf while the president is vacationing in Martha's Vineyard, despite speculation that the two superstars would face off on the links.

Woods said that while the president is on vacation, he'll be tied up playing in a charity skins game hosted by longtime friend Notah Begay III in upstate New York.

"We're a little busy today. We got a little skins game we've got to take care of today," he said.

The Boston Herald reported Friday that the Secret Service was scoping out an exclusive golf course on the island to prepare for a possible Obama-Woods match-up.

Surely, trouncing the president of the United States would serve as a big confidence builder for Woods after his upset loss in the PGA Championship last weekend -- though there's the possibility that Woods would feel obligated to let the president win.

But Woods said Monday that the media played up the speculation and there is no outing with the commander-in-chief.

"Evidently people know more about my life than I do," Woods said. "I haven't even been informed yet."
