SEAN HANNITY, HOST: Took a little bit of time but some Democrats are finally coming out and calling for Weiner's resignation. Now, earlier today, former DNC Chair Tim Kaine said, it was time for Weiner to step down.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
TIM KAINE, FORMER DNC CHAIR: Very discouraging. You know, you can see why people are upset with folks in politics when things like this happen. And it's, you know, on both sides of the aisle, things like this happen in unfortunate ways. Lying is unforgivable. Lying publicly about something like this is unforgivable and he should resign.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HANNITY: And Kaine, he's not the only democrat turning on the disgraced congressman. But the big question tonight is, will Weiner heed the resignation calls and step down?
Joining me with reaction, Fox News contributor Monica Crowley is laughing. And the author of a novel that I bet Anthony Weiner would like because it does have sex scenes in it, "Eighteen Acres." I'm kidding, it does a little bit.
NICOLLE WALLACE, AUTHOR, "EIGHTEEN ACRES": Listen, it is about women politicians. And no woman politician would ever tweet a body part.
HANNITY: All right. Wait a minute, but female politician has what?
WALLACE: Tatas? (ph) I don't know what.
(CROSSTALK)
HANNITY: Wait a minute.
WALLACE: Oh, body part.
HANNITY: No, no, no, no, but -- who had the affair in the book?
WALLACE: The women politicians are the ones who suffer the --
HANNITY: She has an affair, we know -- like this book.
WALLACE: She does not have an affair, her husband has an affair. Men have the impulse control of a puppy. There's no example of a woman politician in this country ever having an infidelity scandal.
HANNITY: Oh so, there's no women that cheat?
WALLACE: I'm just saying Anthony Weiner --
HANNITY: Women are perfect?
WALLACE: -- makes the case for women congresspeople.
HANNITY: You want to stand by your statement that all men are puppy dogs?
WALLACE: Well, they have many male politicians have the same kind of impulse control that a puppy has. They do what they want to do. They have no capacity to check their impulses.
HANNITY: What are you laughing at?
(CROSSTALK)
MONICA CROWLEY, FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR: I'm just sitting here like, you know, listening, observing.
HANNITY: Wait a minute. But here's the point. I've been married 18 years and I'm faithful. And a lot of other guys are.
WALLACE: Of course.
HANNITY: Well, there is one naked picture there. I was forthright about this. There is a one single naked picture of me, when I was one. My mother took it.
WALLACE: This is about a culture of male politicians in this country who seem to act as though they won't get caught doing anything inappropriate.
HANNITY: I got that. But why doesn't Weiner resign? Now, there's a political side of this. All right. We got three, four Democrats is now saying, he should resign and it is building.
CROWLEY: Yes. And what began is a sort of a drip, drip, drip of revelations in the scandal has now turned into a full-on gusher. Pardon the pun. Sean, what?
HANNITY: I'm not saying anything. I didn't do anything. And so, my point now is that he is now having a corrosive effect on the Democratic Party where you've got major Democrats now saying that we cannot tolerate this anymore. It really is denting the image of the Democratic Party. And frankly, whatever credibility this guy had is now completely shot. He's lost whatever respect or effectiveness he had it in the Congress. And so, I think he realizes maybe at this point that in order to salvage his family and now we are getting word that his wife Huma may be pregnant.
WALLACE: Yes.
HANNITY: I feel sorry for her, I do.
WALLACE: I do too.
CROWLEY: He should step down and take care of his home business.
WALLACE: He should step down, change his name and turn to witness relocation. I mean, he has really brought shame to his household.
HANNITY: I agree.
