Question: Could you explain how Wikileaks is able to obtain hundreds of thousands of our highly classified documents?
Submitted by: Keith Woods - Nixa, MO
Answer: Pfc. Bradley Manning, an Army intelligence analyst has been accused of supplying classified documents to the Wikileaks website. It is unknown how Manning and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange got together or whether there was a third party that handed the information to the website. Anyone can submit to Wikileaks anonymously, but the journalists and the website staff decide what is published. According to Fmr. Secretary of Defense William Cohen, it is also possible that Wilileaks hacked into Pentagon or State Department computer traffic to obtain the information.
