Botox is booming! It seems as if everyone from cover models to your next door neighbor is using it, but what do you really need to know about this injectable wonder drug?

We went to a board-certified plastic surgeon, Elan Singer, who says that "Botox is a protein (botulinum toxin), and contrary to popular belief, it’s not toxic." According to Singer, "It is used to help muscles contract less, so that when you fire your muscles of facial expression, when you contract them, the dynamic wrinkles — the wrinkles that form — are much softer than they otherwise would be.”
