Bella Thorne‘s new beauty brand is already causing controversy.

The 20-year-old former Disney star launched her line Filthy Fangs on Saturday, but social media users quickly began pointing out how closely Thorne’s new eyeshadow palettes resemble those from black-owned makeup brand Juvia’s Place.

Founded by Nigerian entrepreneur Chichi Eburu, Juvia’s Place offers highly pigmented eyeshadow palettes with equally striking Afrocentric packaging that have made the line an Instagram favorite.

The company’s Masquerade Palette features the same bright yellow packaging and bold, glittery shades (in similar purple, blue and red colors) found in Thorne’s Ocean Drive Palette.

But price-wise, the two sets couldn’t be more different: The Juvia’s Place palette offers 16 shades for $30, while Thorne’s includes nine shades for $50. Filthy Fangs’ nine-shade Kyra Palette is even pricier, at $60 for nine shades.

Beauty fanatics were quick to call out the visual similarities, along with the obvious price difference.

“But…they look like Juvia’s place palettes? And they’re WAY more expensive,” one Twitter user wrote. “I’m confused who thought this was a good idea.” Added another, “This that bootleg Juvia’s Place.”

Despite the blowback, both Filthy Fangs palettes sold out in under 24 hours and have already been restocked, according to a tweet from Thorne.

Reps for both Thorne and Juvia’s Place did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
