Hillary Clinton has found a new gig — that of executive producer.

The former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee is teaming up with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television to adapt Elaine Weiss’ book “The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote” for television, The Hollywood Reporter revealed Wednesday.

The book, published in March, explores how activists led a decades-long fight to grant women the right to vote in America. Clinton confirmed the news on Twitter Wednesday.

The publication noted Amblin aims to adapt the book as either a TV movie or a limited series. And while a writer isn’t attached to the project yet, Amblin TV will shop “The Woman’s Hour” to premium cable or streaming platforms.

Clinton, marking her debut as an executive producer, will join Amblin TV co-presidents Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey, as well as Weiss. The 70-year-old is expected to be actively involved in the search for a writer, director, script and cast.

“At the heart of democracy lies the ballot box, and Elaine Weiss’ unforgettable book tells the story of the female leaders who — in the face of towering economic, racial and political opposition — fought for and won American women’s right to vote,” explained Clinton.

“Unfolding over six weeks in the summer of 1920, ‘The Woman’s Hour’ is both a page-turning drama and an inspiration for everyone, young and old, male and female, in this perilous times.

“So much could have gone wrong, but these American women would not take no for an answer: their triumph is our legacy to guard and emulate. I am thrilled to be working with Elaine, Steven and everyone at Amblin Television on bringing this important project to audiences everywhere.”

Sources told the magazine Weiss, an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, was inspired by the 2016 presidential election between Clinton and Donald Trump, believing it paralleled the women’s suffrage movement.

The author, who was determined to get her manuscript in Clinton’s hands, met a bookstore owner who delivered “The Woman’s Hour” to Clinton.

Sources added Clinton reportedly loved the book and felt it was a worthy story to share on the small screen, while also creating prominent roles for women.

Clinton eventually met Weiss before calling in the Hollywood filmmaker, a noted supporter, who brought in Amblin TV.

This isn’t the first time Clinton has pursued television. She will also guest-star in the upcoming fifth season of CBS’ “Madam Secretary” with Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright.

While the episode won’t air until October, fans already have some information about the guest stars’ roles.

“In the episode, Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, played by Tea Leoni, turns to the former secretaries of state to ask their advice on how to respond to a delicate situation,” said CBS.

Albright, who earlier played herself in a second-season episode, took to Twitter in July to share the news.

“It was great to be back on the set of @MadamSecretary with @tealeoni,” she shared. “It is always nice to consult with my successors. The episode will air on #CBS on October 7.”

Clinton also took time to tweet about her guest role.

“It was wonderful to spend some time with the team from @MadamSecretary on set in Brooklyn with a few former colleagues,” she wrote. “Mark your calendars for October 7th!”
