Actor Bill Paxton dead at age 61
Emmy-winning actor reportedly died due to complications from surgery
James Paxton wants the world to know that his late father was far more than just a Hollywood actor — he was also a loving father.
The 23-year-old actor recently shared photos of the duo on social media.

The 61-year-old “Twister” star died suddenly on Feb. 25 due to complications from heart surgery. Paxton endured a fatal stroke while having a procedure done for an aortic aneurysm.
The father and son had a close relationship and James even appeared in an episode of his father’s CBS TV show “Training Day” earlier this year.

“I was thrilled to have my son guest-star on the eighth episode of ‘Training Day,’” said Bill to PEOPLE Magazine. “And my character, whose dad was also a criminal, tells him, ‘We’re both our father’s sons, but that doesn’t have to define us.’ It was surreal saying that to him.”
