The Democratic candidate for President of the United States will be sitting down for lunch with Leonard DiCaprio on August 23. Back in town the day before for her first Hollywood fundraiser since the DNC last week, Hillary Clinton has marked a fundraiser at the Oscar winner’s L.A. pad on her calendar.

With tickets up to $33,400 a pop, the DiCaprio hosted get together will come a day after HRC is in town for an evening event at longtime supporter Haim Saban and his wife Cheryl’s Beverly Hills home. That August 22 trip to the Hollywood ATM will be co-hosted by the "Power Rangers" billionaire and his spouse as well as Disney CEO Bob Iger, L.A. Olympics bid chief Casey Wasserman and mega-donor Jeffrey Katzenberg. While the soon-to-be ex-DreamWorks Animation head honcho was not in Philadelphia last week for the Democratic National Convention, the Sabans were in attendance.

Like a number of previous Clinton fundraisers in Tinseltown, the one with "The Revenant" actor will see a portion of the monies raised go to the campaign directly with the Democratic National Committee and regional party organizations getting some too, sources confirm.

Well known for his strong environmentalist stance, DiCaprio has been a presence at a number of Clinton fundraisers, most recently at Harvey Weinstein’s NYC place back in June. A very frequent seeker of Hollywood cash since announcing her latest White House run back in the spring of 2105, the last time the former Secretary of State was in L.A. was on June 28. At that time, HRC was at Screening Room partner and Facebook billionaire Sean Parkers home with Metallicas Lars Urlich and Janes Addictions Perry Farrell in attendance.
