Gwen Stefani thinks the engagement rumors surrounding her and Blake Shelton are hilarious.
“Let’s just look at the last year,” she told 94.7 Fresh FM when asked about them on Wednesday. “Let’s just take it one day at a time. Everything’s crazy right now, so no, absolutely not!”
The singer, 46, finalized her divorce from ex Gavin Rossdale in April and has been dating Shelton, 39, since October 2015, fueling rumors of everything from pregnancy plans to the romance being a publicity stunt for “The Voice.”
“Can you imagine the amount of gossipy, weird stories people make up?” Stefani chuckled. “To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control. I think the best part about it is that it’s hilarious … the fact that people believe it is what’s funny.”
