Hollywood psychic: 'Readings are all about healing and closure'
In The Zone: Tyler Henry, 20, shares messages from beyond with top celebs in new E! series
NEW YORK – At just 20 years old, Tyler Henry has been heralded as the “Hollywood Medium” being sought out by some of today’s most recognizable celebrities. He’s becoming so popular, he even landed an E! reality show. Henry spoke with FOX411 about the most interesting celebrity reading he has done, and addressing skeptics who don’t believe in his supposed clairvoyant capabilities.
In a promo for the upcoming series, Henry appears flush and begins sweating profusely when allegedly channeling a spirit.
“There definitely is a degree of like physical pain that can come through but I find when I actually deliver the message. For example, if someone passed from a heart attack and I say, ‘Oh, they’re acknowledging they passed from a heart related problem’ then the pain will immediately go away because once that message is delivered there is no need for that continued effect,” Henry told us.
Henry, who has been doing readings for 10 years, said Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of “Jersey Shore” fame was his most interesting celebrity reading to date.
“Her reading was very profound in the connections that were made, and the details that came through were really intense.”
For as many positive validations the Los Angeles based psychic has received, he has critics who doubt his ability to communicate with the deceased.
“I understand skepticism and people have varying degrees of beliefs,” Henry said. “You know for me what I do, as you see it, it really has a big impact in a positive way, and I feel like with these readings, it’s all for me. It’s all about healing, closure or insight. My readings and the goal of these readings are really to be able to provide some sense of clarity in multiple aspects, and really kind of breakdown barriers that people have in their lives.”
