While Taylor Swift has seen much success in 2014 with the release of her new pop album 2014, let's not forget her cuddly support, Scottish fold cat Olivia Benson.
Named after Mariska Hargitay’s character from "Law & Order: S.V.U." Olivia joins her equally adorable sister Meredith Grey, named after Ellen Pompeo’s "Grey’s Anatomy" doctor.
Olivia Benson's online debut has grossed nearly one million Instagram likes and immediately began trending on Twitter.
The white fluffy cat's namesake even responded to Swift with a personalized engraved collar. Hargitay who portrays the "Law & Order" character Olivia Benson snapped a picture of herself wearing the collar and wrote, "#MeowliviaBenson, #PurrfectName."
Olivia Benson is also quite the diva. According to Swift, her cat hates her carrier so the singer is forced to carry her furry friend wherever she goes.
Like many celebrities, Olivia Benson even found herself in the middle of a feud!
British actor John Cleese took a swipe at the "Shake It Off" singer's cat on the Graham Norton Show, in October. Swift went silent at the actor's rudeness.
"How did it have the accident?" Cleese asked Swift after being shown a picture of Olivia Benson. "Is that a proper cat? That's the weirdest cat I've ever seen in my life."
"What accident?" an annoyed Swift replied.
Cleese better watch out, Olivia Benson is well on her way to super Internet animal stardom.
