Demi Lovato will be bi – coastal this summer.

The superstar singer is set to honor the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots at the two largest gay pride events in the country with memorable performances in Los Angeles and in New York.

The 21-year-old former Disney starlet will first lead the L.A. Pride Parade as Grand Marshal on June 8 with a special performance before jetting off to New York to headline NYC Pride’s Dance on the Pier event.

Her concert in New York on June 29 is one day before the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, which sparked the gay pride movement across the country.

“It’s such an honor to be part of both LA and NYC Pride celebrations this year,” Lovato said in a release. “I have been an active advocate of the LGBT community and am wholly committed to supporting individuality and being comfortable in one’s own skin. I am thrilled to be a part of both events as they are wonderful celebration of independence and self-confidence.”

Lovato has not shied away from the LGBT community throughout her career. Before her headlining tour across the United States, the “Neon Lights” singer played a lesbian musician on FOX’s hit musical show “Glee.”

During her short stint on the show, Lovato played the love interest of lesbian ex-cheerleader Santana Lopez, played by Naya Rivera.

Lovato has also been the center of lesbian rumors. In October 2013, a female Australian DJ claimed they slept together and posted an onslaught of messages on Twitter and Instagram about their alleged romance.

Ruby Rose, 27, tweeted: “I’m like the one person demi has slept with that didn’t sell naked photos of her…”
