Tori Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott has entered rehab.

The 47-year-old actor and reality star has been the focus of cheating rumors since US magazine ran a cover story detailing an alleged tryst he had in Canada while working.

“I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family,” he told People magazine in a statement. “I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”

Sources told People that he is permitted to leave rehab to visit his and Spelling’s four children, Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2 and Finn, 15 months and that the couples priority right is their children.

McDermott’s first wife, Mary Jo Eustace who was dumped when he embarked on an affair with Spelling on the set of the Lifetime TV movie, “Mind over Murder,” has spoken out about her ex-husband.

“My main concern at this point is the well-being and health of the son we share,” she told People.

The couple  who were married for 13 years before divorcing in 2006 are parents to son, Jack, 15.

Eustace who penned a book about the dissolution of her marriage called, “Divorce Sucks,” said, “I wish Dean only the best in his struggle to overcome the demons he has been wrestling with for many years, so he can become the father and the man I know he wants to be.”

Meanwhile a friend told the magazine that Spelling is staying steadfast for her children but the status of her marriage is less certain.

“She could stay with him or not,” revealed the pal. “God only knows.”
