Christina Aguilera shot back at MediaTakeOut.com for publishing a story in which they implied that “The Voice” judge abused her young son, Max, according to TMZ.

Aguilera's attorney fired off a letter to the entertainment website that threatened legal action for using a photo of the boy, who is three years old, with a black eye.

"HAVE YOU NO SHAME!!!" the lawyer, Eric Greenspan, wrote to MediaTakeOut.com, TMZ reported.

“Christina is a wonderful mother and was not present in the park when Max fell and hurt himself,” he wrote. “To imply that she had something to do with this incident, without any investigation on your part whatsoever, is reckless and unconscionable."

The firestorm began when MediaTakeOut.com published the with a blaring headline.

“CHILD ABUSE???? CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S SON IS PHOTO'D WITH A BLACK EYE!!!"

MediaTakeOut.com proceeded to delete the “Child Abuse” statement from the headline.

Still, Greenspan threatened legal action.

"We reserve all our client's legal and equitable remedies for this reputable disparagement of our client's character," he wrote in the letter, according to the report.
