During a Shakira concert in Monterrey, Mexico the Colombian superstar got more than she bargained for after a fan reached out to shake her hand snatched her ring.
The viral video supposedly shows the grab-and-go and Shakira's sad reaction after she realized that her ring was missing. Her publicist later denied a ring was stolen, telling TMZ it was on her hand after the encounter.
Body guards or staff members can be seen following Shakira but it appears from the video that they did not notice the alleged concert robbery.
There is also no word on the value of the missing ring or whether the ring had any special meaning to the singer--perhaps maybe a token from her soccer-star boyfriend Gerard Piqué?
No arrests have been made and the concert, at the University of Monterrey, was her last performance of her Mexico tour.
