There's no mistaking a Smokey Robinson song when it comes on the radio. The melody, the style, the sweet, soulful voice — each record has all the hallmarks of a great tune.

That said, you can imagine our excitement when we heard about Smokey's latest release, "Smokey & Friends," which features all of Smokey's greatest hits as sung by himself and his famous pals. We're talking about duets with Steven Tyler, Elton John, Sheryl Crow, John Legend, Mary J. Blige and James Taylor, to name just a few.

"As a songwriter, I want to write songs that people are going to sing from now on, and forever, so when I hear other people singing my songs, it's a joy for me," he explained to FOXlight host Michael Tammero. "It's the greatest form of flattery that — as a songwriter — I think you can have."
