Police officers in Richland Hills, Texas, spotted some unusual suspects this week after a donkey and a miniature pony escaped from their owner and were seen trotting along a roadway. The Richland Hills Police Department caught up with the friends, Poncho and Sea Biscuit, strolling through town in the early hours of Wednesday, June 11. The officers took footage of the pony and donkey before giving the pair an escort home. “Just two friends out for a very early morning stroll through the streets of Richland Hills this morning,” the Richland Hills Police Department wrote on social media. “Poncho and Sea Biscuit made it home safely, followed by their police escort.”
