The U.S. Census revealed that there are 50 million Latinos in the United States. Our community’s influence both in the private and public sectors is greater than ever and yet, most of the stories about Latinos portrayed in the media are related to illegal immigration, crime and dropouts. There is almost no mention of our entrepreneurial prowess, scientific achievement or innovations. The only way for this to change is for all of us to start sharing our own stories of success.
