A dispute over hot sauce had one fast-food customer seeing red. 

A Taco Bell in Idaho reportedly skimped on giving a customer extra hot sauce packets, causing a commotion at the drive-thru that resulted in law enforcement responding to the heated scene.

An unidentified customer held up a drive-thru line over the spat on Sunday and refused to leave, causing a traffic jam in the Taco Bell parking lot. An employee at the fast-food chain then called the local police department, according to the Rexburg Standard Journal.

Law enforcement officers from the Rexburg Police Department soon arrived to speak to the customer, who eventually left without incident. Police Chief Shane Turman said the chain made the right call by reaching out for backup.

“With Taco Bell, someone was making too big of a deal out of (not getting their hot sauce),” Turman said, per the Journal. “We have more important things to do.”

Not long ago, one Taco Bell employee made headlines for much more dangerous allegations. A Taco Bell employee from a Hartford, Conn., chain was accused of shooting two people in the restaurant’s parking lot last month, NBC CT reported. The woman was arrested on Tuesday.
