(Bourbon Steak)
Duane Sylvestre, head bartender at Bourbon Steak in Washington, D.C., has this drink to warm you up on a cold day.

1 Ounce "Toddy Base"
2 Ounce rum (bourbon or brandy work as well)
1 part ginger syrup
1 part allspice dram
600 Grams water
200 Grams ginger juice
1K sugar
Combine and simmer for five minutes. Let cool before using.
Add Toddy Base and spirit of choice. Fill glass with hot water and garnish with clove-studded orange peel
