Israeli police say a building in Tel Aviv has collapsed.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says emergency units are on the way to the scene.

Channel 10 TV said the building came down after a crane fell on it.

There was no word of casualties or a cause of the collapse. But the channel said there are fears that people are trapped inside.

The station showed images of a cloud of dust covering the construction zone.
