BERLIN – Police have evacuated a plane bound for Turkey at the Kassel airport in central Germany after an anonymous caller told authorities that a potentially dangerous piece of luggage was on board.
Kassel police said they were looking into the tip from the caller, who informed airport officials Tuesday afternoon that there was a suitcase on board "which could pose a danger."
The plane was due to fly to Antalya on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
