Wreckage of lost Thai air force helicopter found with 3 dead

BANGKOK – Searchers in Thailand have found the wreckage of an air force helicopter missing since Saturday and the bodies of the three crewmen who were aboard.

Air Chief Marshal Suttipong Inseeyong said the wreckage was found Tuesday morning by searchers on the ground on a mountainside in a park straddling the eastern provinces of Rayong and Chanthaburi.

The Bell UH-1helicopter was lost on a mission to supply a radar station near where the wreckage was found. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
