For the second time in less than 24 hours, thunderstorms are drenching San Antonio and sparking flash flooding concerns.
This Memorial Day weekend is starting on an extremely wet note in San Antonio with drenching thunderstorms streaming northward across the city.
The thunderstorms are following a round of downpours Friday afternoon that flooded and forced officials to close some of the city's roads Friday afternoon.
With the ground still saturated from Friday's thunderstorms, there is significant concern for additional flash flooding today. That is especially true in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
It is not out of the question that one or two of the thunderstorms turn violent, unleashing damaging winds and a tornado.
Drier weather will follow for Sunday and Memorial Day.
