A news release Wednesday said 38-year-old Jesus Beltran-Rodriguez was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years and 43-year-old Carlos Albert Delgado-Castaneda to seven years and eight months.

U.S. Attorney Gregory Davis says both had been convicted of rioting in the Adams County Correctional Facility in Natchez, and Beltran-Rodriguez also had been convicted of second-degree murder.

Beltran-Rodriguez is from Leon, Guanajuato, and Beltran-Rodriguez is from Tamaulipas.

Guard Catlin Carithers was killed and 20 people were injured in the riot on May 20, 2012, at the privately run prison.
