A construction worker was killed in Central Park Monday when he was crushed by his own van, officials said.

The man was working near East Drive and East 74th Street when he got out of his white Ford van to check on a mechanical issue around 6:40 a.m., cops said.

While he was investigating, the van started to roll down an incline and crushed the man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man had been doing some type of work near the park’s Loeb Boathouse. The truck that killed him is owned by MSM Empire Construction Corp., which is based in Mineola.
