Police believe man died after getting head stuck in clothing donation bin

A man's body has been found dangling from a clothing donation bin in New Jersey, and police suspect he likely got his head trapped and became stuck.

Police say a woman made the discovery Sunday afternoon in a donation box located in the parking lot of a convenience store in Pemberton Township.

The woman says she called police after noticing the man's legs hanging from the bin. The woman's husband tried to free the man, but he was already dead.

Police say it's likely the man became stuck after sticking his head in the bin. They say the victim might have been a drifter scavenging for clothes.

Pemberton police Lt. Brian Wechkus says the death remains under investigation. No foul play is suspected.
