Police: Ohio man charged with murder after infant son dies from blow to head with coffee mug

CANTON, Ohio – Ohio police say a 2-month-old boy has been hit with a coffee mug thrown during an argument between his parents and has died.

The baby's father was charged with murder on Tuesday. The baby had died earlier in the day at Akron Children's Hospital.

Investigators in Canton say the baby was hit in the head by the mug and hospital workers notified police.

Police say the baby's father also has been charged with child endangering and domestic violence.
