A 15-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to aggravated murder in the sledgehammer slayings of an Ohio couple and could receive life without parole.

Court records show Jamall Vaughn signed a guilty plea Friday. He was 14 at the time of the April 2013 killings of Margaret and Jeffrey Schobert of New Franklin.

Prosecutors say Vaughn and then-18-year-old Shawn Ford took a sledgehammer from the couple's garage in suburban Akron and beat them. Prosecutors say Ford was angry they wouldn't let him visit their daughter at the hospital. Ford had stabbed and critically injured her 10 days earlier for refusing him sex.

A jury found Ford guilty in the Schoberts' deaths last year and recommended the death penalty. He hasn't been sentenced yet.
