DREXEL HILL, Pa. – State police in Pennsylvania have issued an Amber Alert for two small children reportedly taken from a Philadelphia-area home after a woman was slain.
Police in Delaware County's Upper Darby Township said they are looking for a 32-year-old man seen taking the 4- to 7-year-old boys from a residence in Abbey Terrace in Drexel Hill.
Neighbors said they heard a loud argument and then a shot. Responding officers said they found a woman in her 30s dead with gunshot and possible stabbing injuries.
Superintendent Michael Chitwood told reporters that one of the children was heard to ask "Is Mommy dead?"
Police said the man and the children were last seen leaving in a grey sport utility vehicle. Authorities said he may have ties to New York City
