A mystery man walked into a local Starbucks in Boston and threw about $100 up in the air and walked out.
BOSTON — A Boston man apparently found his lucky pot of gold on St. Patrick’s Day.
The mystery man walked into a local Boston Starbucks and yelled out, "I'm rich, I'm rich, I'm rich!" and then threw about 100 $1 bills into the air.
Witnesses Tara Mardigan and Branden Lapia say they are still surprised by the man's bizarre behavior, MyFoxBoston reports.
After his outburst, they say he just calmly walked out of the store. Mardigan says everybody stood still, a bit stunned about what had happened.
Surprisingly, nobody raced to grab the cash. "We all just sat there stunned. Nobody scrambled for the money like you would think they would." Mardigan says the bills flew everywhere.
"Some of it was even stuck in the ceiling," Lapia said.
A Starbucks employee collected the cash and donated it to go toward relief efforts in Japan, MyFoxBoston reports.
