As many as 25 percent of newlyweds share the same regret, according to a survey by registry site Zola. Instead of muffin tins and bed linens, recently married couples from across the United States wish they had registered for luggage.

Zola asked more than 650 engaged and just-married users about their dream honeymoons and their wedding registries.

After luggage, the biggest regret was not asking for a cash fund for travel or a fancy night out.

“Today, couples are adventurous,” said Jennifer Spector, a Zola user. So instead of traditional items, couples might want to opt for camping equipment, a picnic basket, suitcases, or a camera.

One luggage collection was very popular on Zola’s wedding registries: the Samsonite Winfield. Pieces in this line are known for being lightweight, scratch resistant, and secure.

Specifically, users requested the 20-inch Samsonite Winfield 2 Spinner Carry On more than any other suitcase on the site, beating out other popular carry-ons by Tumi and Rimowa.

“The top five pieces of luggage registered for on Zola, of all time, [were] all carry-on pieces,” noted Zola’s Emily Forrest. Four of them are wheeled Samsonite carry-ons.
