A disgruntled flier was so offended by a fellow passenger’s mid-flight flatulence that he wrote note to a flight attendant pleading her to make an announcement for the person to "see a doctor."

The note, written on a napkin, was later shared on Reddit by user Garwee20: "My flight attendant mom got this napkin from an upset passenger."

The note reads: "

"I don't know if you can make an announcement. But if you can, you should say that whoever is farting in the areas of rows 10 to 12 should definitely see a doctor because they might have ass cancer."

The flight attendant did not fulfil the passenger's request and chose not to publicly shame the one passing gas.

Travelers to fart more on flights, say health experts.  That's because the gases in the digestive tract expand as cabin pressure decreases at high altitude.

But the note also reveals the growing tension among passengers as airlines continue to squeeze more passengers on planes.

The note has since gone viral and has been viewed two million times.

But this isn't the first time passing wind has caused turbulence in the skies.

Last year, a Singapore Airline flight was forced make an emergency landing after the sheep herd aboard triggered the smoke alarms.
