The AirPods are out of stock at pretty much every Apple store around, and things are even worse if you want to buy online. Waiting times are over a month from most places, but it looks like AT&T and Verizon just got a shipment, as the Airpods are in stock and shipping tomorrow.

Both carriers are selling them for $159, the usual price, and shipping is free. Verizon's shipping is two-day, so you should get them by Monday, while AT&T has a three-day shipping service that will get them to you early next week. Other than that, there's no real reason to go with one company over the other.

If you're going to buy, you should act fast. The AirPods have been coming in and out of stock even in the last day, according to 9to5Mac, so the quicker you buy the better chance you should have of having them delivered.

The AirPods seem to be one of the most polarizing gadgets recently released. A good proportion of the internet hates the shape, the fit, and the fact that they're much easier to lose than normal headphones. But other reviewers have loved the simplicity and the freedom from wires, and you can't really argue with the fact that they've been permanently sold out ever since the release.
