Aubrey O’Day Plans to Do Playboy Again, But Remove Even More
Aubrey O’Day is pretty proud of making the cover of the March issue of Playboy magazine and enjoyed the experience so much she plans to do it again — but push a few more boundaries next time around.
"I absolutely want to do it again, any day. I’ve been asked to actually," O’Day told Tarts last week. "I only took a little bit off this time so I’ll be back."
But it seems as though the former "Danity Kane" diva will have to be careful stepping out in public as life has been a little scarier since she flashed her flesh for the men’s mag.
"I get sent a lot of creepy pictures like of guys licking the pages," she admitted. "It’s slightly weird."
And even though Diddy booted the blonde bombshell from his girl group "Danity Kane" last year, the 25-year-old’s public profile seems to have skyrocketed and she’s certainly not allowing the let-down hinder her happiness.
"Everything in life happens for a reason. A lot of people last year were fired, we are in a recession," O’Day admitted. "We are all going thru hard times. I’m just a public representative for being fired in 2008 and moving on in 2009."
Britney Spears’ Songwriter Moves On To… Heidi Montag!
She wrote Britney Spears’ number one hit "Toxic", Katy Perry’s "I Kissed A Girl" and Kylie Minogue’s "I Can’t Get You Out of My Head" in addition to hits for the likes of the Spice Girls, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Pink & Carrie Underwood — but now famed songwriter Cathy Dennis has moved on to aspiring pop princess Heidi Montag.
"My album is coming out before the summer and my first single is coming out in a few weeks," Montag told Tarts at Star Magazine’s Young Hollywood Issue Celebration (featuring a performance by Lady GaGa) at West Hollywood’s Apple Lounge on Wednesday night. "Cathy writes for Britney and Katy Perry so I’m pretty excited."
Good news is that Miss (or shall we now say Mrs.) Montag won’t be embarrassing herself with another homemade/Spencer-directed music video of her bouncing on the beach in a bikini; the cheesy couple are actually blowing a budget for this one.
"We’re getting Matthew Ross, a professional to do it," he said. "I will kick back and eat cheese and grapes."
Speaking of The Hills, we hear the night was full of family dramas and disasters with the reality TV cast. Stephanie Pratt didn’t want to be on the carpet at the same time as her estranged brother Spencer and was heard whispering about how he and Heidi Montag "weren’t even married." Mind you, Montag denied this and told us that their nuptials were all legal and we’d see it unfold on the upcoming season. Spencer did however walk by as his sis was gushing about her hot new handbag line Monroe and gave her the total snub. Pratt quickly rushed over to Holly Montag (she and Heidi didn’t interact either) and the two spent the night hanging out with Spencer’s enemies Lauren Conrad and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth.
"I’m very depressed Lauren is leaving," Spencer said sarcastically. "Who am I gonna beef out with now? I gotta find some new enemy on the show, it’s awful."
Also in attendance at the party was Lady GaGa, Kristin Cavallari, Jewel, Nicky Hilton, Ryan Cabrera, Perez Hilton and Kourtney Kardashian.
Lindsay Lohan: Is Everyone Out to Get Her?
After a weekend in the limelight in response to a $50,000 warrant being issued for her arrest, Lindsay Lohan is apparently standing by her word that she hasn’t done anything wrong. According to a source close to the actress, she thinks "everyone wants her to fail" and is starting to shut even more people that care for her again out of her life.
Lohan definitely didn’t allow the somewhat sinister news to stand in the way of her weekend. The 22-year-old hit up the Chateau Marmont on Friday night and then made her way over to Jack Nicholson’s house where she stayed until around 4 a.m. But it was Saturday afternoon when things really went wild as another fight broke out between Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson and a window was smashed, prompting Ronson’s neighbors to call the cops.
The girls refused to open the door (even though the officers repeatedly said that they were not there to arrest or her or deal with that matter) although when a friend arrived a little while later with fast-food it was retrieved.
Lohan’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley will appear in court on the starlet’s behalf on Monday morning and hopes to clear up what is otherwise just a "misunderstanding" between Lohan and the court.
Dad Michael Lohan told Tarts on Sunday evening that he plans to come to Los Angeles this week and "rescue" his daughter from the person he believes is putting on a path of destruction again.
"Enough is enough,"Michael said. "Samantha needs to be out of Lindsay's life now."
