A porn star was sentenced to six years in federal prison for gun and cocaine possession, The Los Angeles Daily News reported.
"Tony Everready," whose real name is Duane Reed Moore, was on parole for spousal abuse when he was stopped by police last July for not having license plates, and then indicted three months later.
A search of his car turned up a loaded semiautomatic weapon, a handgun, a fold-up baton and almost 4 grams of cocaine in several Ziploc bags, according to the News.
Moore, 37, told Los Angeles police that he used the weapons as movie props and sold drugs to make ends meet when his work in adult entertainment was sluggish. He has acted in almost 200 pornographic films, according to the Internet Movie Database site IMDB.com.
Authorities announced his sentence on Tuesday.
