Independence, Mo. police say that three suspects led cops on a high-speed car chase just so they could videotape it.

According to police, the suspects said they wanted to sell the video to the media.

The chase started when an officer noticed a Mustang with expired tags. When he tried to pull the car over, the driver sped off. As the officer chased the Mustang, he noticed a gray car following him, the driver holding a video camera.

Police arrested the driver of the Mustang for outstanding warrants. As for the gray car with the cameraman, police caught up with him a few blocks away.

Investigators took the video as evidence, and found that two people inside the gray car had felony warrants.
