LOS ANGELES – Molly Shannon (search), a longtime fixture on NBC's late-night comedy show "Saturday Night Live," has married.
Shannon, 39, married her artist fiance, Fritz Chestnut (search), in a private ceremony Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Santa Barbara. The couple has an 8-month-old daughter, Stella Shannon Chestnut.
Shannon is known for her trademark sketches on SNL as Mary Katherine Gallagher, the nerdy Catholic school girl, and Helen Madden, a licensed "joyologist."
She has also appeared in movies, including "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Shallow Hal," "The Santa Claus 2," "Serendipity" (search) and "Osmosis
