While all the talk lately has been about the new-look New Orleans Pelicans, Russell Westbrook reminded everyone why he's an MVP candidate Sunday.
The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar racked up another triple-double -- a feat that has become almost commonplace for the perennial All-Star -- but Westbrook put an explosive exclamation point on Sunday's 118-110 win late in the fourth quarter.
With less than three minutes left and the Thunder clinging to a one-point lead, Westbrook blew by Jrue Holiday and met DeMarcus Cousins at the rim, where Westbrook hammered on Cousins for an and-1 finish.
