CINCINNATI (AP) Washington pitcher Stephen Strasburg left with a slight limp in the sixth inning Saturday after having trouble returning from a rain delay.

Strasburg, trying to become the major leagues' first 10-game winner, limited the Reds to a pair of hits in five innings and struck out nine. He returned after a 21-minute rain delay in the sixth, gave up a walk and Joey Votto's homer, and then grabbed his right calf on a pitch to Brandon Phillips.

He stayed in the game after a visit from manager Dusty Baker and a trainer, struck out Phillips, and gave up a single to Jay Bruce. That's when Baker made a pitching change.
