Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey is best known as one of the nation's best running backs. However, the Cardinal decided to show off McCaffrey's abilities as a quarterback on Saturdayagainst Colorado in Boulder.
Holding a 35-10 early in the fourth quarter, McCaffrey took a snap out of the wildcat formation. Instead of running the ball, the sophomore sensation dropped back and ran right before finding tight end Austin Hooper streaking down the field.
McCaffrey dropped a beautiful dime right over Colorado's defense and Hooper did the rest. The 28-yard touchdown pass was the first pass of McCaffrey's career.
