New York, NY – Montreal Canadiens forward Lars Eller has been fined $2,500 by the NHL on Saturday.
The fine stems from a boarding incident against Los Angeles defenseman Drew Doughty last Saturday in Los Angeles.
The play occurred 4:48 into the first period and Eller was assessed a minor penalty for boarding.
