Senators edge Maple Leafs

Kaspars Daugavins' first NHL goal wound up being winner, as the surging Ottawa Senators edged the Toronto Maple Leafs, 2, at Scotiabank Place.

Colin Greening and Chris Neil each netted power-play goals for Ottawa, which extended its win streak to six games. The Senators' current run followed a 1-5-0 start to the season.

Robin Lehner made 23 saves to record a win in his season debut.

Clarke MacArthur tallied twice and Jonas Gustavsson stopped 27 shots for the Maple Leafs, who were denied a third straight win.
