Raleigh, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes recalled forward Zach Boychuk from Charlotte of the American Hockey League after placing forward Zac Dalpe on injured reserve.
The 14th overall selection of the 2008 draft, Boychuk has seven goals and nine assists in 56 career NHL games. He has four goals and two assists in seven games for Charlotte this season.
Dalpe has been sidelined since October 14 with a lower body injury. He has not registered a point in five games played this season.
