Indianapolis quarterback Kerry Collins is like symptoms.

Collins was knocked out of last week's game against Pittsburgh and was scheduled to be the backup to Curtis Painter, who will be making his first- ever start in Monday's game.

Dan Orlovsky, who was signed by the Colts last week, will be the backup to Painter.

Collins, signed into a starting role in late August when it was revealed Peyton Manning had not been fully recovered from offseason neck surgery, took several big hits in the 23-20 loss to the Steelers and was clearly dazed on the sideline.

Indianapolis (0-3) is hoping to avoid its first 0-4 start to a season since Manning's rookie campaign in 1998.
