About the bill

A bill to approve the Keystone XL pipeline. This bill would allow for the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, which would transport oil sands crude from Canada to refineries along the Gulf Coast. The project is currently still awaiting completion of the U.S. State Department’s review and is facing ongoing litigation in the Nebraska Supreme Court. The pipeline would consist of 875 miles of pipe with the capacity to transport 830,000 barrels per day.
